The reason for this is that the player has, over the past 4 years, been part of the USS Tornado, the USS Talon, and the USS Scorpion. He has been consistent and reliable and in a position of high responsibility during most of his service on each of those ships. He has always been there, and always provided high-quality and entertaining posts. He has set an example for others to follow, and as such, has earnt the USS Scorpion Medal of Merit.

- Completely changed the Deck Design on the Specs page.  The decks now simulate the layout of the ship, including its support arms which rise above either side of the bridge.  Changed the contents of the decks considerably, in order to fit in with the logical aspect of room and department locations.  (I'm sure this is going to be tweaked even more in the near future...!)
- Updated the Specs page to take into account the following modifications:

• This new Pathfinder class is a variant of the same Pathfinder-class as the USS Miranda. As a result, while the MVAM separation planes still exist, they are disabled and unable to be used. Each of the 3 sections has its own engineering and warp core, with the primary Trelinium-based warp core being in Main Engineering.
   
• The main warp core provides all the necessary ship functions and is fully capable of supporting everything the ship needs, in terms of ship systems, weapons and defence systems. The secondary and tertiary warp cores provide redundancy systems for backup and emergency. They also reinforce the shield systems, providing a much greater recharge rate for damaged shields.
   
• The saucer and hull sections also have their own battle bridges. Since the ship is unable to separate, these bridges are not normally in use, however they can provide alternative bridge capability in situations where the main bridge is disabled or inaccessible.
